EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
The bachelor’s degree program is designed to qualify experts in rehabilitation by means of psychomusical techniques. A qualified music therapist should be able to plan and to put into practice rehabilitative projects, working alone or in collaboration with other experts and institutions, to aid patients with neurosensorial or psychiatric pathologies. (from the mildest to the most serious). The projects aim to achieve improvement in damaged functions (where it’s possible) or improvement in the quality of life (when the illness course is grave).

CURRICULUM
The courses include the five clinical models approved by the World Federation of Music Therapy in the World Conference in Washington (1999), the vibroacoustic therapy by Olav Skille, and the improvisational psychodynamic music therapy presented at World Conference in Krems (2014). The study plan includes disciplines belonging to different areas : clinical, psychological, theoretical and musical practice. Finally the students take a 250-hour clinical internship under the supervision of a tutor, that introduces the students to the work environment and helps them to plan and put into practice their first rehabilitative treatment.
